HEAD TO HEAD: The boxers will face each other on Saturday
A BRITISH and a Spanish fighter will be going head to head for a shot at IBF International Super Lightweight Title in Malaga.
Luca Giacon, with 29 wins and one defeat, faces Sam O’maison, 14 wins and one defeat, at the Palacio de los Deportes Martin Carpena at 9pm on Saturday (August 5) where one will progress into the semi-finals.
During the presentation, the councillor for Sports, Elisa Perez, thanked Factory events for choosing Malaga for such an important event, and added that should Giacon win, the Martin Carpena venue will be available for the next fight.
The Spaniard has thanked all of the support he’s been receiving and has called on them to “fill Martin Carpena” to show that Malaga can represent boxing in Spain.
Tickets for the sixth and seventh row have already sold out as well as the VIP zone.
