Big pig, little pig

A MUST-READ for those torn between both the tender love for animals and the love for a tender loin of pork!

What happens when torn between the prospect of a meal of fine roast ham and juicy pork pies or facing a deep, overwhelming sense of love for the animals reared to produce it?

Set in a tiny hamlet, Mas de Maury in south-west France where she moves with her husband, Ed, this bittersweet tale explores their burning desire to embrace the rustic nature of local village life.

However, as the couple decide to take on the role of local pig rearing, inner conflicts begin to develop. As the pigs begin to fatten and approach their final days before slaughter, a realisation of the surprising intelligence and individual personalities of her swine begins to haunt and agonise her.
