AN individual has died in the municipality of Toques in the La Coruña province in Galicia in the north west of Spain, after receiving a blow from a cow.
The 112 emergency services were alerted that the victim was unconscious and despatched a helicopter to the scene.
But the victim was confirmed dead before the medical team arrived.
The Guardia Civil are investigating the precise circumstances accident.
Cows are responsible for the deaths of 22 people annually while sharks account for just five.
Deer also cause hundreds of deaths, mostly by running out in front of cars.
