SPAIN’S Guardia Civil has stopped a coach carrying 60 passengers and arrested its driver after he tested positive for drugs in a routine roadside check.
The coach was carrying around 60 passengers from Hinojosa del Duque (Cordoba) to a day at the beach in Benalmadena (Malaga).
The 35-year-old coach driver gave a positive result for cannabis in an alcohol and drug control check and was detained by the police.
The coach continued its journey to the Costa del Sol after a replacement driver was found. He, too, was subjected to a roadside check and he tested negative for drugs and alcohol.
