BENIDORM: Costa Blanca hotspot
A 70-year-old woman has suffered serious head injuries after being struck by a tourist train in Benidorm on the Costa Blanca this morning.
She has been taken by ambulance to the Hospital Marina Baixa in La Vila Joiosa, Alicante according to the emergency services.
The elderly woman was hit at 10.30 on the Avenida Mediterráneo in front of the Agir hotel and police are investigating – but it is understood the tourist train has resumed normal services.
