THE DRIVER of a breakdown truck (grua) has been killed while attending a broken down car in Spain.
The 28-year-old worker died on the A-5 at Maqueda in Toledo after he was hit by a van.
Castilla-La Mancha’s 112 emergency services control centre said the accident happened at kilometre 73 of the A-5, which runs from Madrid to the Portugese border just west of Badajoz.
