A REAL ESTATE developer has placed what is believed to be the largest ever Spanish flag on the side of a building in Valdebebas, Madrid.
The flag, which measures 731 square metres, hangs down the side of a 12-storey block of flats.
It tops the previous record of the 294 square metre flag that has been in Madrid’s Plaza de Colon since October 2002.
The flag reportedly cost around €15,000 and will be displayed until next Tuesday.
