CEASED TRADING: The A1Travel.com is now offline
A LONG-ESTABLISHED UK online holiday company that sold packages to Spain and around the world has ceased trading this afternoon.
In a brief statement on their website the ABTA and ATOL-protected company announced:

The company was founded in January 1978 with their stated mission ‘to offer the cheapest holidays online’ to all holiday hotspots across Europe, including Spain, and beyond.
They specialised in all-inclusive packages from 3 star to 5 star deluxe
Only this week they were offering an ‘amazing’ deal to the Spanish Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2018 with a 4-star hotel plus F1 tickets and track tranfers from £399 per person.
Writing on their Facebook page one annoyed customer, Alex Fuller said, “Still trying to take money off people on Monday , gone bust today. Cannot tell me your directions didn’t know it was going to happen.”
Another, Judy Axcell wrote, “This was on the cards a few weeks ago, and they had the audacity to slag Monarch off!”
Others came to their defence including Luke Nathan who said, “End of an era!! – Very sad!
It is reported that Broadway Travel has taken over future bookings and will re-protect the accommodation part of holidays for customers who have not yet travelled.
