BRITISH AIRWAYS have announced new routes to Palma and Menorca, as well as plans to increase the number of flights to various Spanish destinations.
The new flights – all from Gatwick airport – will start from March 25 and run through the summer season to October 27.
BA are also set to increase the number of flights from Gatwick to Malaga, Alicante, Tenerife and Lanzarote.
The existing routes will increase from 27 to 35 per week for Malaga, and from 14 to 22 for Alicante.
Last week, Euro Weekly News also reported a number of new routes to Gibraltar.
The airline have reportedly said a “small number” of their extra 150 flights out of Gatwick each week – which also includes some to Portugal – will be operated by Titan Airways.
BA have bought the collapsed airline Monarch’s slots at Gatwick, increasing their capacity significantly. They will reportedly be running their biggest schedule from the London airport for more than a decade.
