SPAIN’S Met Office, AEMET, has issued orange and yellow weather alerts for high temperatures across large swathes of the country today (Monday) see detailed information below. The majority of Andalucia in the south of the country will experience high temperatures but with orange alerts specifically in the provinces of Cordoba, Jaen and Sevilla. The yellow warning in Almeria will remain in place until Tuesday. One of the few areas NOT on alert for stifling temperatures is the province of Malaga and the Costa del Sol.
