Fourteen injured in motorway smash in southern Spain

FOURTEEN PEOPLE, including two children, have been injured in a road crash on a major road in southern Spain this afternoon (Tuesday).
The accident on the A-92 at km 205 in the Huetor Tajar area, near Granada in Andalucia, happened just after 1pm.
Ambulance crews rushed eight injured people to hospitals in Granada and six casualties were treated at the scene.
A woman and two children were taken to the Mother and Child Hospital of Virgen de las Nieves, two other people have been taken to the Neurotraumatology and Rehabilitation Hospital of Virgen de las Nieves and another three to the San Cecilio University Hospital.
Guardia Civil traffic police are investigating the cause of the crash.
