STABBED: Two Brits seriously injured in Costa Blanca knife attack

TWO BRITISH men on the Costa Blanca have been rushed to hospital after sustaining knife wounds after a heated argument earlier today.
The dispute, allegedly involving four couples, escalated into violence outside a bar in the El Chaparral area of Torrevieja.
Reports suggest that two of the four couples involved in the row were British with the other two couples alleged to be Romanians.
The British stab victims are yet to be named and it remains unclear if they are expatriates based on the Costa Blanca or visiting as tourists.
One of the two victims admitted to Torrevieja Hospital is reported to be 59 and suffered knife-inflicted injuries to his leg and chest.
Police have also announced that a second 35-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his arm.
Following medical attention, the men are believed to be in a serious but not life-threatening condition.
Police have identified the attackers but it is unclear at this point whether they have been arrested.
One suspect allegedly dropped his mobile phone as he fled the scene of the attack which remains in the hands of the police.
