THE Spanish Met Office, AEMET, has issued severe weather alerts across the Costa Blanca and Almeria.
Yesterday’s yellow warning (at risk) was upgraded today to high-risk orange after more than 45 litres per square metre of rain fell in Ronda on Thursday, causing flash floods.
Meteorologists warn that heavy and potentially destructive rainfall could now occur in any part of Malaga province.
The alert also extends to Mallorca, and Aemet has continued the alerts for tomorrow, but with lower intensity.
