TWENTY-ONE yellow weather warnings have been issued by Spain’s national agency, AEMET, for today (Monday).
Most of the alerts will be in operation from 1pm  – with some areas on alert through until Tuesday.
The full list of today’s warnings can be found below (scroll down to bottom of page).
It follows a weekend that saw some severe flooding in some of Spain’s traditional holiday hotspots including Vera in Almeria.
Also hit hard recently was the Rio Frio area in Andalucia that saw cars swept away in flash floods that hit the region.
The area near Loja in the province of Granada is famous for its trout and sturgeon fish farms and is home to the world’s first organic caviar.
One of the key ingredients for the quality of the caviar is the purity of the waters from the springs of the Sierra de Loja, at the foot of the Sierra Nevada.
Last week the historic town of Ronda was also hit hard as 50 litres of rain, per square metre, fell in less than an hour. But within 24 hours the mop-up operation was complete and the town was welcoming tourists again.
