EMERGENCY services are searching for a diver missing off the coast of southern Spain since last night (Tuesday). The 40-year-old diver was reported missing off the Getares beach in Algeciras in the Cadiz province of Andalucia. Salvamento Maritimo, Spain’s maritime rescue service, has said that their Helimer 205 helicopter and Marina Denébola boat are conducting a coordinated search of the area. More to follow… The incident comes just weeks after diver 23-year-old Fidel Jimenez Marín went missing during a fishing trip. Fidel disappeared on Sunday, July 22 while spearfishing with friends. He had recently relocated to Cadiz from Velez-Malaga. His body was recovered from the sea near Barbate.
