AN Irish man extradited from Spain has been remanded in custody accused of drugs offences and carrying a knife in public. Thomas Cawley, 32, was detained in Barcelona under a European Arrest Warrant last month. At Belfast Magistrates Court he was charged with possession of cannabis, diazepam, amphetamine and MDMA. He was also charged with being unlawfully at large in March 2016. Cawley was remanded in custody to appear again by video-link on October 4.
