TWO firefighters were injured after their vehicle overturned on its way to deal with an emergency call in Spain. A third person who went to their help also needed medical assistance after the accident on the road from Alcúdia to Sa Pobla in s’Albufera on the Spanish island of Mallorca. Despite the spectacular nature of the accident, the three injured have been diagnosed with minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The Consell de Mallorca said the incident happened on the MA-3433 road at kilometre 3 and said the two injured firefighters were wearing seatbelts.
