Another superb Marbella International Film Festival comes to an end

THE Marbella International Film Festival came to its conclusion last night Sunday with a star-studded Gala Awards Dinner.
The results of the competition which attracted a large number of entries from around the world were:

  • Best Newcomer – Andrea Martinez for Shadow
  • Best Shorter Short – Trigger Finger
  • Best Short – Easy Way Out
  • Best Actress – Catia Ojeda for Closure
  • Best Actor – Steven Berkoff for Tell Tale Heart
  • Best Director – Tony Farjallah for Morine
  • Best Feature – Solo!

Attending the event, in addition to a number of those having films screened, were members of the cast and crew of Return of the Footsoldier 4 who are currently filming in Marbella.
Once again, organiser of the event, Mac Chakaveh ensured that a number of top new films, both features and shorts were attracted to the Festival which continues to promote Marbella as an ideal city for film.
