SNOW WARNING: North of Spain at 'extreme risk' of snow storms

THE Spanish Met Office has issued an ‘extreme risk’ warning in parts of the north of the country, with snow storms predicted for tonight (Sunday) and tomorrow.
Areas most likely to be affected, with the addition of heavy rainfall, are the Asturias, Cantabria and Castilla and Leon, according to Aemet.
Andalucia, in particular Granada and Jaen, has also been given a yellow warning, ‘at risk’, with snow storms a possibility until Tuesday.
This afternoon snow was falling on the famous mountain road from the Costa del Sol to Ronda, while there was hail in the historic town itself.
Much of the Costa Blancas and Costa del Sol have experienced rain and strong winds for most of this afternoon, expected to continue into tonight.
