Woman killed by cow in Spain

A 67-YEAR-OLD woman has died after being struck by a cow in a field in the north of Spain.
The tragic accident happened in Rodeiro in the Pontevedra region of Galicia.
The woman died from the injuries she suffered and was found later by family members when she didn’t return home.
Mayor of Rodeiro, Luis Lopez, said that as a result of the accident, the two council sessions that were scheduled for today (Monday) have been suspended.
The woman’s son is a prominent politician in the area.
