WATCH: Tornado rips through town in south of Spain tearing up trees

A SMALL tornado has ripped through Sevilla in Andalucia in the south of Spain leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
The freak weather, with wind speeds of up to 80 km/h, tore through the town of La Rinconada, and in particular the El Santisimo urbanisation Avenida Reino Unido (United Kingdom Avenue).

Emergency services attended more than 40 incidents in total.
Some trees were toppled and municipal workers were drafted in to make others safe. Street furniture, signage and refuse bins were also damaged
A resident in the area said it was “a noise like a bomb” adding “when we went out we could not believe that there was no-one injured.”
