Father arrested for abandoning his 14-month-old baby in a bar in Spain

POLICE in the south of Spain have located and arrested the father of a baby found abandoned in a pushchair yesterday (Friday).
The 14-month-old baby was found in a bar between Calle Carretera de Carmona and Avenida de Kansas City in Sevilla, capital of Andalucia, on Friday afternoon, according to emergency services in the city.  
Members of the Local Police asked for the public’s collaboration in order to track down the baby’s parents.
Eventually the baby’s father was found and arrested for abandoning the child.
The baby’s mother was found and visited the hospital with her baby so that a thorough medical assessment could take place on the child.
