DANNY TETLEY is set to take the stage on The X Factor tonight (Sunday) after performing his take on a Celine Dion song made famous by the film Titanic yesterday. The Benidorm-based entertainer, 37 and originally from Bradford in Britain, gained rapturous applause last night after singing My Heart Will Go On. The performance came as part of the ITV competition’s Movie week which saw contestants sing classic songs from the world of cinema. Tetley has attracted a sizable following in Britain and among the Spain-based British expatriate community. He has long appeared on stages in Benidorm and also made an appearance in the sitcom of the same name. The 37-year-old is also known for being charitable to fans. He has sent t-shirts to followers on social media and previously met young supporters on ITV’s This Morning. He will now have to perform again tonight and win over audiences watching at home if he is to continue competing in the show. Watch his performance last night here:
