A PROVINCIAL court in Spain has sentenced a 44-year-old woman to five and a half years in prison for the crime of corruption of a minor and child abandonment after selling nude photos of her teenage daughter to strangers.
The Provincial Court of Sevilla heard that the mother, known as E.S.T and originally from Arboleas, Almeria, took pictures of her youngest daughter, now 15-years-old, in short skirts, heels, make-up, bathing suits and completely nude in provocative poses in order to upload the indecent snaps to a dating portal, accessible only by payment.
A 52-year-old man, known as J.L.O.R, was acquitted of the crime of corruption of a minor by the court, after being accused of buying the photographic materials of the young girl.
The court also heard that the young girl was exposed to video conferencing in 2014 and 2015 during which she interacted with clients and occasionally undressed.
In 2015, the acquitted buyer, J.L.O.R, reportedly met face to face with the young girl in order to hand over a sum of between “one hundred and one thousand euros”.
The acquitted allegedly declared he was in love with the young girl and proposed she returned with him to Madrid.
The court judged that there was “no doubt” the accused mother had committed the crime of abandonment, neglecting her parental duties to the child, declaring the case as a: “real situation of abandonment, disregarding them, without trying to have them in her company and doing an absolute abandonment of your functions as a mother leaving them in the hands of third parties who had no connection with the girls and who they had known for a short time “.
The defence has since claimed it will appeal the judgement against the mother, citing the court failed to take into account the “painful situation of economic indigence of the mother.”
