RUBENS is a Chow-Chow cross, we saved from the killing station, Los Barrios on the Costa del Sol. Very little is known about Ruben’s life, except that he was caught on the streets by the dog catchers of Los Barrios. Rubens has a strong character. When he is in new, unknown situations he tries to get the upper hand. This was probably his way of survival on the streets and he therefore needs a steady, calm owner who knows what he is doing and can set boundaries and limitations for Rubens. If he could live in a calm and safe environment, with someone to guide him with patience and love, Rubens will learn to relax and trust his owner to look out for him. He has never had this. An owner who will teach him, not only discipline, but also what true friendship is, will find Rubens to be a devoted and loyal companion for life. Rubens is at Animal Care España (ACE) in La Cala de Mijas, Malaga For more information about Rubens or any of the many animals in need of a new home contact: Denise Lansdale at [email protected] 0034 669018736 or visit: www.ace-charity.org/en/
