So far the video, uploaded with the description “That’s what you get in Benidorm with the ****** bouncers has been seen more than 200,000 times, been shared more than 2,000 times and attracted around 1,000 comments.
One of the people who left a comment said: “I have been to Benidorm on loads of occasions. I also have witnessed the brutal behaviour of these so-called doormen.
He claimed: “If there is any trouble the doormen from other clubs and pubs turn up. Then instead of calming the situation they slip on their biker gloves and start to smash the person involved and his mates.
“The biker gloves have hard plastic knuckle protection on them,” he alleged.
“Once they have finished they are all celebrating with high fives.”
He went on to say: “I still love the place for its tribute acts. Avoid the places where the bully bouncers are.
“Someone should name and shame the main bars, then everyone should boycott that pub until the owners employ real door staff.”
Jacqui Perkins, one of the administrators of the Benidorm and Costa Blanca News and Information Forum, with around 33,000 members said: “It’s not helping tourism and it has to be sorted and stopped once and for all. The reactions from Joe Public are overwhelming.”
