A HUGE mopping up operation is underway on the Costa del Sol this morning (Monday) after the area and the province of Malaga generally was hit by torrential rain and thunderstorms at the weekend. Although much of Andalucia in the south of the country was on alert many people were still surprised by the ferocity of the storms.
