MALLORCA TO MIDLANDS: Charity cyclists take on gruelling 13,000km ride from Spain to the UK

STUART Walker and colleague Ondina Varela took on the mighty challenge of cycling over 1,300 km from the island to his hometown of Wolverhampton in just over three weeks to raise funds for charity.
Stuart, who now works and lives in Mallorca and Austria, joined the board of A Gift To Life in 2017, a charity which was set up in 2014 to support blood cancer patients.
Stuart lent his support after his brother had an accident on a horse that left him paralysed from the neck down.
It inspired him to do something for a worthy cause.
But as well as his time, he decided to help boost the coffers, and joined by Ondina, set off from Palma Nova, taking a ferry from Barcelona and cycling to Caen in France.
There they took a ferry to Portsmouth and continued the journey on two wheels.
