A REPORT by one charity has found some pork in Spanish supermarkets has been contaminated with superbugs. World Animal Protection carried out an investigation into the result of overuse of antibiotics on the food chain and found some pork at Carrefour supermarkets in Spain contains superbugs. The organisation claims the bacteria kill 700,000 people a year and can cause food poisoning, blood poisoning, urinary tract infections, and death when found in the food chain.
