LAURA LUELMO’S body, which was found yesterday (Monday) after she disappeared in Spain last week, shows signs of aggression, both in a physical and sexual nature. Her body was discovered among bushes 4 kilometres from her home in El Campillo, Huelva, Spain. Spanish media report the 26-year-old’s body was found face down and half naked. Police report the victim showed signs of having self defence injuries including marks on her neck which indicate death from strangulation, however an autopsy is yet to have taken place. The post-mortem is scheduled to take place today. Police are undertaking a full forensic examination in order to trace any signs of the killer’s DNA, which could prove vital to finding the murderer. Spanish media initially speculated Laura Luelmo’s neighbour, a convicted murderer, was linked to her disappearance. However, the Spanish press has since ruled out this link due to the fact, ex-convict Luciano MN, 50, was in police custody during the time of Laura’s disappearance and subsequent murder.
