BRITISH graduate, Keren Brody, 24, who recently moved to Spain to pursue her dream career in interpretation died over the weekend in a car crash in Spain. The 24-year-old, from Edgware, north west London, was killed while on a road trip with friends in Madrid over the weekend. Keren had just moved to Spain in October to learn the Spanish language. Her friends paid tribute to her on social media. One of Keren’s friends, who wished to remain anonymous, wrote: “Anyone who spent five minutes with Keren will know how special she was. “Her endless enthusiasm for the things that she loved was infectious and her trademark squeal of delight is the happiest sound I have ever known.” Ms Brody was said to be music lover, her friend said: “She loved music, and has written roughly 200 songs. She loved to cook.” Keren Brody was killed after a collision with a bus in Spain’s capital city of Madrid. The graduate was taken to hospital but passed away due to her injuries on Sunday 16. Her family has asked for privacy while they make arrangements for her funeral but gave permission for her friends to pay tribute to her. Keren Brody had just graduated with first-class honours in French from the University of Warwick. One friend added: “Words will never do justice to how much of a joy she was to be around. She was sharply intelligent, wonderfully sweet and she always made sure people knew that they were loved.” Ms. Brody is due to be laid to rest under a tree in Israel near where her grandmother is buried.
