IRISHMAN James Connors, a wanted fugitive on the run from authorities in the UK, has been arrested for violence, robbery and for being part of a criminal organisation. The 43 year-old was detained by the National Police at a resort in Benidorm on December 21 while on holiday with loved ones. The criminal is allegedly the leader of a gang responsible for extortion, robbery and threatening citizens in the UK. His name had been added to the list of most wanted people published by ‘Crimestoppers’. The arrest was made possible due to combined efforts made by The National Police and the National Crime Center (NAC) and their continuous exchange of information. Connors was located thanks to the Location Group of International Fugitives of the National Police and the homicide division of the UDEV of Alicante. An extradition hearing will be held in the Spanish capital of Madrid where the detained will appear before a judge in court.
