BERNARDO Montoya’s neighbours have allegedly broken into his home in El Campillo, Huelva, where suspected murderer lived before being arrested in connection with Laura Luelmo’s death.
The Guardia Civil were alerted after passers-by heard noises coming from inside the property.
Spanish police have now placed locks and chains outside the house to prevent further break-ins.
Montoya’s home, that was located just in front of the house Laura had moved in to, is actually owned by his farther.
According to Spanish press, neighbours are ‘afraid’ that the killer’s brother, Luciano Montoya, who is currently in prison, will live at the house once released.
Montoya is currently in a prison unit that holds some of the most dangerous criminals in Spain.
Prison guards have stated that he has shown no remorse since his arrest.
