ALTEA town hall has employed six workers under the Generalitat’s Avalem Experiencia (Endorsing experience) programme. By providing funding, this programme helps town halls to find work for the under-30s as well as the long-term unemployed. Five of the six new employees are working in administrative positions and another as a draftswoman in the municipality’s Urban Development, Education, Infrastructure, Contracts, Human Resources and Citizens’ Services departments. After the six-month work contracts were signed, Altea’s mayor Jaume Llinares welcomed the five new employees, encouraging them to enjoy their experience in local administration while reactivating their careers.
