TODAY and Sunday’s scheduled strikes have been called off after Ryanair management and the unions representing its Spanish cabin crew reached an agreement over work contracts this morning.
After more than 18 months of meetings, the company agreed to comply with the Spanish legal and labour framework.
This has been the main bone of contention for staff, who currently have Irish contracts.
The deal was signed at the Madrid headquarters of the Directorate General of Labour’s Madrid headquarters at 4am.
