A MAN in his 30s has been killed and a 45 year-old male injured in a head-on collision in northeast Madrid this morning (Thursday).
The crash occurred at 5.50am on the M-300 road at Alcala de Henares. The Guardia Civil closed the road and is investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
An ambulance, SUMMA mobile unit and three fire engines attended, and a source confirmed one man died from ‘multiple injuries’ at the scene, and had to be cut from the car.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered chest and lung injuries, and was transferred to the Prince of Asturias Hospital in Alcala de Henares with a reserved prognosis.
