AS winter rumbles and the prospect of the sunny spring and summer months still seems far off, many of us start to turn our thoughts to spreading our wings, trying something new, or getting away somewhere.

And whether it is a long weekend city break here in Spain, a trip back home to catch up with friends and family, or even an exotic trip to somewhere further afield, there is one dilemma which affects us all; luggage space.

As with working out the exact number of clothes, underwear and shoes (or possibly scuba gear if you fall into the exotic break category!) needed for a trip, choosing which shampoos, conditioners, moisturisers, or cleansers to pack can also be a time-consuming task.

Luckily the Euro Weekly News is on hand with a list of multi-tasking products- all within hand luggage limits- ensuring you don’t have to compromise on any of your favourites.

First up is the Bybi Babe Balm (€20.27 for 30ml from www.revolveclothing.es). The company claims this 100 per cent natural, do-it-all balm will moisturise faces, bodies, and chapped lips, and can even be used to add glow to cheeks, eyelids and brows.

Next is a multi-tasker offering all the benefits of cleansing, brightening, and treating skin in one product.  The Allies of Skin Fresh Slate Vitamin C & Enzymes Brightening Cleanser and Masque (£38/€42 for 70ml at www.cultbeauty.co.uk) is a dual-action masque and cleanser to, “restore brightness and radiance.”

This product, containing a host of skin-goodies like organic Argan oil and Hyaluronic Acid, works as a cleanser when massaged onto dry skin for one to two minutes, or a mask if left for 10 minutes.

The product also contains enzyme to gently exfoliate skin, meaning you can leave the face scrub at home too.

And finally, for a space-saving product to take care of your hair and skin without the need for multiple bulky bottles, why not pack a multi-purpose oil such as Nuxe’s cult classic, Huile Prodigieuse (€15.95 for 50ml from www.parfumdreams.es)?

This dry oil- meaning it is lightweight, not greasy- can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment, slicked through the ends of wet hair as a leave-in conditioner, and even sprayed on brushes to control frizz and add shine.  Even better, this oil- the number one best-seller in Spain- can be used to moisturise dry bodies and faces, or added to bath water to help wind down after a busy day’s travels.
