SPAIN’S Guardia Civil police force is warning people to be on their guard for a coin switch which could leave them out of pocket.
Officers have highlighted the fact that the Argentinian two peso coins can be easily mistaken for a one euro coin – but it is worth only a fraction at just €0.024.
The law enforcement body has taken to social media to highlight the potential confusion between the coins and urge people not to get caught out.
