PALMA-BASED tour operator JetsGo Holidays has announced several new flights to Inverness during October.
The flights will fly direct to the city on October 12, 19 and 26, the first time in many years that there has been a direct link during the autumn to the Highlands.
The firm said it ‘offers those living on the island from that region a great opportunity to visit friends and family back home’.
Ordinarily, passengers would need to fly to Glasgow or Edinburgh, and drive up to three hours to Inverness, so ‘the convenience offered by flying direct to Inverness really is a big time saver’.
It is hoped that if these October flights prove popular, a more regular service may be operated.
Flights are available back to Scotland on the 12th cost from €39 one-way, with the return flight on the 26th similarly priced at €39, which includes 15kg hold baggage.
Flights can be booked by calling JetsGo Holidays on +44 800 368 9076 or visit them online via their website or Facebook page.
