TWO young girls, aged 10 and 19, lost their lives in a tragic crash in Madrid at the weekend.
The two girls, who were sisters, were involved in a crash on the A-4 in the Pinto area of Madrid, when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with the concrete central reservation in the early hours of the morning.
The vehicle was carrying two adults, the parents of the girls, and three children. The 10-year-old died at the scene of the crash, whereas the 19-year-old survived until a day later in hospital, sadly losing her battle for life.
The other vehicle occupants, a child aged 15 and the parents, the father aged 50 and mother of 45, were taken to hospital where they were treated for lesser physical injuries, where they were also receiving support for the mental trauma that followed the tragedy.
