THE cost of trying to rescue two-year-old Julen from the bottom of a well in Totalan reached €700,000, it has emerged.
Elias Bendodo, a government spokesman for the Junta de Andalucia, announced the figure and confirmed the Junta would pick up the cost for the operation.
