EURO Weekly News Media Group is again teaming up with Costa Women, this time as official media partner of its seventh International Women’s Day (IWD) conference – an exciting event with women in business at its heart.
The all-day event, on March 8, will embrace Costa Women’s annual focus of #MakeItHappen, and is being held at Marbella’s Andalucia Lab in collaboration with 1230 The Women’s Company.
The UK-based organisation specialises in business networking lunchtime meetings that enable women to connect and develop mutually beneficial business relationships in a welcoming environment.
In addition to offering a superb opportunity for women on the Costa del Sol to swap ideas, make new contacts and give tips, a highly skilled and knowledgeable list of speakers has been lined up.
And bringing it all together will be MC for the day, Social Media Trainer, Fiona Catchpowle aka #AskCyberGran.
The EWN will be profiling these women in the run-up to the event, together with Costa Women’s designated causes, Knitted Knockers and The Association of Women Survivors of Gender Violence (AMUSUVIG), as part of a campaign in support of IWD.
Ali Meehan founded award-winning Costa Women in 2010, and it is now the largest social networking community for women living in or planning on moving to the Costa del Sol and Spain in general.
She said: “Imagine what you can gain from all this expert advice and help. Expect inspiration, motivation and new ways for thinking about your business to help make it happen in 2019.”
Tickets are available via http://bit.ly/IWDMarbella, where there will also be information about an International Women’s Day Networking Party, hosted by Costa Women and Guadalmina Alta-based catering school, Food Room.
*COSTA Women is offering a great opportunity to win a free ticket to its International Women’s Day conference (March 8).
Last year’s conference guest speaker, Kathy Ennis, kindly donated her ticket and a copy of her very own Social Media Planner as a prize, after finding herself unable to attend.
All you have to do is email your answer to the following question within 100 words to IWD2019@costawomen.com, before February 28.
“Why is it important for me and my business to be at Costa Women’s International Women’s Day on March 8?”
The winner will be announced online at costawomen.com and on the Euro Weekly News Facebook ‘comments section’ of this post on March 4, 5pm.
