ON the eve of Costa Women’s International Women’s Day Conference which takes place on March 8, there will be an evening of business speed networking and an opportunity to meet the speakers at Food Room in Guadalmina, Marbella.
Tickets for the event, which starts at 6.30pm, cost 5€ on arrival, and include beverages and snacks. Costa Women founder and conference organiser, Ali Meehan, said: “Even if you can’t come to the conference, you can come along and hear some tips and ideas for your business and build your network.”
Cooking school and caterers, Food Room, is another example of a woman realising her business dream.
Maroila Ustaran Muela launched the business in April 2017, and said she loves every aspect of being her own boss.
She said: “Of course, opening a business is not easy and you have to be patient and work hard to make it work. The most important thing is to maintain the quality of the service you provide and also to offer a personalised service.
“I am very happy to be involved with the conference. I love hosting women’s events since we should help each other to grow in the business field.”
