TORREVIEJA Guardia Civil officers arrested a 43-year-old Colombian man in Los Montesinos for breaking into a property and stealing 76 grams of cocaine.
The incident took place earlier this month and a neighbour who witnessed the scene called the local police.
One of the two robbers was caught running away, with officers seizing the drugs and a fake gun.
Criminal police officers from the Guardia Civil in Guardamar were then called to search the property where the robbery had taken place.
Inside, they found a further 89 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of marihuana, 303 grams of substance used to cut the cocaine, utensils used to weigh and package the drugs, two cars and a mobile phone.
Since the discovery, the burglar has been provisionally released, while the victim has been imprisoned for drug trafficking.
