Woman, 69, dies in swimming pool fall in south of Spain

A WOMAN, aged 69, has been found floating in a swimming pool at a house in Andalucia in the south of Spain yesterday (Wednesday).

The 112 emergency services control centre reports the incident happened in Montequinto in the municipality of Dos Hermanas in the province of Sevilla.

An ambulance crew, firefighters, National and Local Police attended the scene but attempts to revive the woman failed.

An investigation has been opened into the accident.
