ANOTHER distressing image has rocked the Internet in Spain this week after a fox was found dead and tied up to a post in Asturias.
The fox was discovered in a protected area known as the Natural Park of Las Ubiñas-La Mesa, in Santa Maria.
An individual reported the incident along with an image on February 28 via a Twitter account known as @lasendadloso.
The account stated that the discovery was ‘Simply, not normal … And we are in a protected Natural Park area, as well as a Biosphere Reserve’.
The case has since spread across the Internet with an increasing number of comments regarding the measures carried out by authorities to avoid and stop these type of acts on animals.
Sencillamente no es normal… Y estamos en zona catalogada además de Parque Natural, Reserva de la Biosfera. 😔. @pdquiros @lavozdeasturias @LaVozdelTrubia @RTPAOficial @sextaNoticias @informativost5 @lanuevaespana Imagen tomada el 26/02/2019 en Santa Marina, Quirós, Asturias pic.twitter.com/vobuKxj6Ji — La Senda Del Oso (@lasendadloso) February 28, 2019
