JUST weeks after the Julen rescue tragedy that gripped the world, another young child has plunged down a well in Spain.
A seven-year-old boy was pulled from the hole by rescuers with a rope before the arrival of the emergency services.
The child fell into the empty well in Alaraz, Salamanca yesterday afternoon (Monday).
The 112 Castilla y Leon emergency control room despatched firefighters, police and medics to the scene.
The child, described as ‘conscious’, was transferred by ambulance to hospital in Salamanca.
