POLICE have arrested a man in Benidorm after he was allegedly discovered in another guest’s hotel room and threw himself from a third-floor window after being disturbed.
The hotel reception called the emergency services when they realised someone had fallen from the third floor to the first landing on terrace furniture.
After the fall, the suspect got up and allegedly began to smash the windows of the terrace until he was restrained by five hotel guests.
National Police who attended the scene found the 37-year-old man covered in wounds and bruises and in a ‘disturbed state’.
When officers searched the man’s room they found alcohol, cocaine and €12,000 in cash.
The Spanish man has since been charged and is due to appear before the courts.
