A SPANISH Down syndrome association has launched a campaign to coincide with World Down Syndrome Day tomorrow (Thursday, March 21).
The campaign, titled #LaSuerteDeTenerte (The luck of having you), pays tribute to what those with Down Syndrome contribute to those around them.
Down España’s video for the event has already gone viral and shows a four-year-old girl speaking about her brother, who has the condition.
She describes him as the, “best in the world,” because he, “takes take of her and makes her happy.”
In the film, she explains: “There are people who look at him weird because they do not know him well.”
She added: “My brother is perfect as he is, I wish all the children had my luck.”
