BREXIT will cost Spanish industry at least €2.6 billion a year, mainly in the automotive and agri-food sectors, according to a leaked report by consulting firm Oliver Wyman.
According to the company Spain will be the sixth most affected European country, with Catalonia and Valencia the most affected regions in the country, reported El Mundo Spanish newspaper.
The international consultancy firm based its calculations on damage to exports. In Europe Germany is the most affected country with an annual downturn in trade of €9.4 billion. It is followed by the Netherlands (€ 4.4 billion), Belgium and France (€ 3.9 billion each), with Italy slightly ahead of Spain at €2.6 billion.
